ART LINK LOG CABIN CROSS RANCH STATE PARK

This campout took place April 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd. There were 21 scouts who attended this campout (AWESOME). Some of the activities the scouts worked on (to name just a few) were achievements for advancement, cooking, GPS, games, leadership skills, following instructions, learning how to work with another and building trust. One thing of interest you might want to ask your scout about was the SLACK LINE! The slack line is something new to the Troop. It provided hours of entertainment for the boys (literally). A huge thank you to Mr. Terry, who spent time researching and having it made by a sling manufacturing company to the specifications of Mr. Terry! There was plenty of good food to eat and the weather was great. Thanks to the adults who participated in this event, they include: Tom D, Mr. & Mrs. Terry, Greg V, Bill J, Mark M, Patty R, Chuck E, Steve S, Janelle & Bob W, and Rod G. A special thank you to Mike V, Jonathan B and Brandon P for their leadership and mentoring of the scouts. Luke P deserves a thank you for making sure the Troop trailer was ready to go and organized, and also Cody G for conducting the Chaplain Service on Sunday morning. All the boys deserve a pat on the back for their contributions to making this campout a success. WAY TO GO GUYS!!!
