INTERNATIONAL DINNER

Scouts Jake and Luke P., Brandon P., Jonathan B., Thomas K. and Mike V. along with adults Tom & Karen D., Terry & Terry P., and Greg V. attended a dinner organized by the International Club. The scouts fulfilled a requirement of the Citizenship in the World merit badge they have been working on. This is an Eagle required badge and is the last Eagle required badge to complete for Jake and Jonathan! The evening and food was interesting. They ate food from the countries directly affected by the Tsunami and watched a program consisting of Thailand, India, and Indonesia dance performers as well as Haiti and South American folk music. Jake had so much fun he could not sit by and just watch, he did his part in an Irish jig with another audience member. (Just for the record, he could use a little practice) The scouts ended the evening by doing a bit of service work by helping clear the tables.
